Can be caused by repetitive work, awkward positioning or forceful movements. Usually, symptoms gradually worsen but may suddenly worsen after a burst of activity (for example, weekend warriors) or by an episode of prolonged or unaccustomed activity (for example, working long hours to make a deadline).
